Subject: DOLPHINS
Date: 18th October 2008
Despite the recent prolonged spell of poor weather we continue to keep a boat on the water available for trips. We manage to sneak out when there is a break. Is it still worth it? Yesterday we saw bottlenose dolphins on both trips, porpoise, both golden and sea eagle as well as deer, seals and much more. We will continue to keep a boat available for trips till well into November

Subject: WHIRLPOOLS AND RED DEER
Date: 14th September 2008
With the days becoming shorter we are seeing more red deer stags out and about preparing for the Rut which will shortly start. These magnificent animals can be observed at close quarters from our boats as they do not see any threat from the sea.
As the autumn equinox approaches so the spring tides are getting larger. Whilst we have lost the light to run whirlpool specials in the evenings we are able to continue in the mornings. See OUR TOURS for all dates.

Subject: Magnificent whale sightings
Date: 11th August 2008
For the last month we have had magnificent whale sightings. Our whale watching boat has been out early in the mornings and located whales. This has enabled our Corryvreckan Wildlife tours the opportunity of brief encounters as they pass close to the feeding grounds. We are often asked how close do we get to the whales? This really depends on the whales, we drift through the feeding grounds on the currents. Whales are inquisitive animals, judge the distance yourself, you can just make out the side of the boat in the left hand corner of the picture
